Just noticed that we have [daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils][daffodils]
I assume this is not a sign of spring but GN kindly helping us to celebrate St David's Day. Greetings to all you other Welsh and partly Welsh members for tomorrow. Lots of dragons, daffy and red things in shop windows here.
And to all you others do please come on your holidays! We have the very best castles for your GKds to explore. Fantastic unspoilt coastline. Proper mountains. Independent [cake] bakeries and an absolutely wonderful ice-cream industry.

Falls on Sunday so a holiday this year. Leek pie for lunch then?

Thistledoo Fri 28-Feb-14 08:59:49

Morning everyone, my diary tells me its 28th Feb, being Welsh and living in Scotland I usually celebrate St. David's day by wearing a Daffy. But its tomorrow not today. Nevertheless have a good day and happy St David's day when it comes. Bora Da.daffodil

MiceElf Fri 28-Feb-14 09:07:01

So it is! Why did I think it was a leap year? Senior moment.

Elegran Fri 28-Feb-14 09:13:24

? Leap Year? 29 Feb? St Davids Day? Ummmm?

MiceElf Fri 28-Feb-14 09:23:13

Elegant, I thought St David's day was on Sunday. (See up thread) It's not. It's tomorrow. I thought it was on Sunday because I thought 2014 was a leap year. No idea why.

MiceElf Fri 28-Feb-14 09:24:04

And the predictive text has restored you to your elegant state. Again.

Elegran Fri 28-Feb-14 09:30:30

Ah! I thought you were joining those who thought it was today (or was on tomorrow 29th). My misunderstanding. Predictive text is cleverer than you'd think.

JessM Fri 28-Feb-14 09:30:42

That's why I said "tomorrow" in OP grin daffodil

Galen Fri 28-Feb-14 09:34:16

daffodil it's better than that dragon last year. (Or am I imagining that?)daffodil

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 09:35:36

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 09:39:36

Ana Fri 28-Feb-14 09:41:44

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 09:49:22

Oh yes. Scrub my last couple of posts. blush

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 09:55:35
