I'm glad the MPs have caught up. Comedians have been making jokes for years about the permanent DFS sales! But does it matter? I'm not sure whether saying, in small print, 'Reduced from price offered at Redditch branch in March' convinces anyone. I think a bargain is something I've bought for less than what I think would be a reasonable price whether it's in the sale or not.

Here is Belguim sales are in January and July, and are not allowed at any other time unless the shop is actually closing down and then only in the final month of trading, the best time to get a bargain is the last week of January and July as they really cut the prices to get rid of stock.

No been on this for a while now, it always surprises me if I visit the UK and see shop windows plastered in sale signs, it would actually be illegal to do that here, it is the same with Christmas shops need a special licence to advertise Christmas items before St Nicolas day which is at the beginning of December, can't remeber the exact date.

We could do with our shops having to have a special licence !

The news this morning was so grim, until the item about the government sending a (very scary) letter to carpet/furniture stores to tell them their cunning tricks have been found out. That one made me LOL -

I've been having Belgian goat cheese that I actually LIKE - brought by my sister's boyfriend this week!

No I have something savoury to put in a sandwich that will actually keep for a while....diet is no cow milk, and I can't eat sweet sandwiches all the time!

Alternative is meat which I have to eat before it goes off....why do all the sandwich things in the supermarket have one or other thing in that I can' eat! I love this Belgian cheese, like cottage cheese and spreadable.
