I can't speak for Sago magazine, but the magazine to which I contribute usually pays me about a month after publication. However, my latest payment took longer than usual, about two months. I expect you will receive the payment but magazines in general are trying to delay payments more than usual, as they are suffering from such a drop in sales at the moment.

I doubt very much it’s a scam. Plus, it’s still November.
