Pacemaker

Any grans out there with a pacemaker.... I had mine done on Wednesday ... not the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had. Any heartwarming advice please ... feeling a bit beaten up

Hi Grandmablue, welcome to the forum.Glad all went well.
You will feel you want to touch or protect the area /scar where it went in, but eventually will forget about it. Just be very easy on yourself for the next few months and follow hospital orders about what to do/not to do.You will have it checked every year at the pacemaker clinic to make sure all is well.
Otherwise, it’s a wonderful life extending gift.....enjoy yourself.?
