All sorts of things, especially slightly surreal humour, but word play and even slapstick now and again.Probably why the Snickers ad with Mr Bean amuses me.?
I think humour is the defining thing about being human, no animals have it, even the intelligent ones.

I watched 'The Upstart Crow' for the first time on Monday night and loved the wordplay in it - first time for a long time that I have encountered a really cleverly written comedy, but have probably missed a few over a period of very busy years.

Definitely word play for me, not slapstick. Love the funny things animals do especially my dogs.
Must admit to a bit of dark humour too, think it comes from being a nurse. Have to be careful who I share with,my daughter is a mental health nurse and totally gets it.

My brother and I share the same dark humour we are both very dry and sarcastic with each other when we get together its belly laughs....I love observational humour and word play

I find humour in most things really. Not keen on very satirical stuff, but love laurel and hardy, and you've been framed type stuff. Must be awful not to 'get' funny.

A.n.other example for me would be the radio show ' Just A Minute. Not such a fan of 'Mornington crescent,' but generally love repartee and satire.

Oh I love 'just a minute' and used to also really enjoy 'whose line is it anyway'

'Sorry I haven't a Clue' has me laughing out loud as does 'Would I Lie to you'. Also Phoenix's humourous tales. And they all manage to be funny without any swearing!

"Round the Horne" never fails to make me laugh out loud.

I never enjoyed red dwarf, the mighty boosh, or Mrs Brown's boys.

the Meercat ads ,the latest one with the pub fight is hilarious

some of the things the GC say ,on the way back from school GD2 asked me about boarding schools...because other Gran went to one....she wanted to know if you had to go to boarding school to learn how to get bored ...lol

I laugh at most of the things mentioned but have never enjoyed slapstick or farce, they make me cringe.

Mrs Brown's boys had me laughing out loud only last week, but I never found Red Dwarf funny either.

I have a book of unintentional wordy jokes which always cheers me up (Such things as "Judge rules over nude beach" are involved)

And once I was in hysterics for ages over a silly joke:

"Would I lie to you" always makes me laugh out loud. Never understood Mornington Crescent but love the rest of the show.
