I have one, with white bobbles on, I use mine in the ordinary oven, as far as I know they are made to withstand great heat, they are made of the same stuff, space shuttle nose cones are.

Try it but put a layer of foil onto baking sheet under it, just in case!

I used mine in an ordinary oven for years. I've only just thrown it away because I dropped the lid and got fed up with using tin foil instead.
