Yes, it was poor, wasn’t it, and put me off watching any more.

I watched and enjoyed The Quiet Hour but I have now lost track of when the plays are on.

No, these are new productions. YouTube have quite a few of the original ones.

I stated to watch one with Phyllis Logan in but switched off after a very short time , it was rubbish.

Both BBC 4 and Talking Pictures TV have shown a number of the original Play for Today in recent months.

Some have been the same play, but I have enjoyed them all.

Or maybe it was one with Sue Johnston, that was daft as well.

I've watched them all and I have to say the quality has been variable. Whenever I see a "tick-box" drama, written according to "Creative Writing Studies" rules, I switch off pretty quickly. But then I'm unfashionably Old School and believe that great writers are born, not made.

The most recent one about a nurse on a 24h night shift is worth a watch

I thought the one about the friends in the country-think it was called the "Wilderness" or similar?, with Daniel Mays-was really poor, just a pointless waste of good actors! Put me off watching anymore

The one about the teacher and the Ofsted inspection was a bit Ott.
