I’m new to this, never watched until this series and thought I was hooked but last week’s episodes irritated me for so many reasons, it would take too long to explain.
So, I was in two minds whether to bother watching this week but switched on just to see if the Traitors had managed to murder anyone in plain sight as the sand timer showed they were running out of time.
This was a better episode imo with the Traitors performing very poorly in the mission - except James who played an inadvertently clever game through cowardice. What better than a Traitor not supporting their fellow Traitors?
The Faithfuls really are clueless, aren’t they, although it’s easy for the audience, knowing who the Traitors are.
Miranda should learn to button it and, as a former maths teacher, Romesh should have been able to fit the pieces together to win a shield.
Joanne and James Blunt continue to get on my nerves for being so badly wrong about everything although, to his credit, Blunt was the only one to show some helpful strategy in the mission. Sharon is at last starting to say something of relevance but nobody is listening much.
In Uncloaked, Jerry showed how clueless she really had been but Ross had been much more aware. At last, someone who suspected Maya but, unfortunately, hadn’t spoken up. They will miss him in any future missions that need a bit of muscle.
Romesh could be the next victim. Common sense says the Traitors should want to take advantage of the suspicion Miranda and Joanne now have for one another (and continuing doubts round Leigh Anne) which they could push to their advantage at the next round table. Bash seems too vanilla at this point.
At the moment, it’s looking like an easy Traitor victory although Michael Sheen is also starting to speak up more and is showing some critical thinking skills ... which could put him in danger.
On we go.
