We watched this yesterday on Channel 4 and it's now available to stream (free).
In essence it is about an orphaned otter, Molly, in Skye who is befriended by a man, Billy. But it is much more than that -the impact Molly has on Billy is very moving, the scenery is spectacular and the music is perfect.
I'm not a big lover of wildlife documentaries but this was wonderful

One of my daughters recommended this to me today.
It’s now on my ‘watch list’.

Have just watched this delightful film, enjoyed it so much that I know I will keep and watch again, just beautiful.

I watched it this morning with a 10y old whose school was closed.
We both loved it 🦦

The scenery was stunning, especially the seas in winter and the Northern Lights!

I watched it last night and it was truly captivating yet somehow sad as well. Can’t quite put my finger on why this is.
One of the saddest shots was seeing the deserted little pool of multi-coloured balls which Molly had so loved to play in. What do others think?

I must watch this as it sounds like ‘A Ring of Bright Water’ by Gavin Maxwell. One of my all time favourite books. If you enjoyed this programme you must read it or watch the film.

I’ve just finished watching this, it is absolutely wonderful, I loved it. Thank you so much eddiecat78 for mentioning it, I’d never heard of it.
Yes keepcalm, I loved Ring of Bright Water, but not the sad ending.

Thankyou *eddiecat78, hoping to watch this afternoon! Does anyone else remember Ring of Bright Water about Midge the otter? Beautiful also.

I watched this enchanting documentary last night.
Everyone should watch it.
The scenery is amazing. Such a contrast between summer and winter.
The skies are incredible.
And what an uplifting story of a man and an otter.

I didn't think it would be my cup of tea as I'm not really in to nature or animals. However, it was pure magic from beginning to end. I think I'm getting soft in my old age.

I'm going to watch this. A friend watched the programme last night and described it to me today.
It sounds wonderful.
