I’ve just realised that this is on the BBC at the moment. It was reviewed on Must Watch but I didn’t pay any attention as I assumed it was on Netflix or something. The stage play is supposed to be very good, too. I don’t think you have to be a football fan to enjoy it. I’ll have to watch it on catchup.

Must point out that it’s about Gareth Southgate. We have a problem with England managers I think in that we don’t appreciate them at the time because they don’t win world cups for us. It’s only in retrospect that we realise how good they were ( eg Sven, Southgate).

Oh, it’s a series, this is part three. What planet am I on to have not known about this? ( planet decluttering I think…)

I saw it as a Play, probably one of the best plays I have seen.
The Series is the play but much longer and padded out. The TV story has delved more behind the scenes but still very enjoyable.

Still have to see the final episode but over all the play, was more punchy and funny. The actors were amazing so much energy on the stage, some of those actors are in the TV production.

So worth seeing, especially as the World Cup is looming large.

I’m enjoying it very much, MayBee, and would recommend you try it. Give yourself a break from the decluttering! smile

One of the presenters on Must Watch has been to see the play twice. I’m looking forward to seeing this. I wish I could have seen the play, though. I stopped going to the theatre because it’s so expensive and it wasn’t very often that I’d come away thinking that I’d watched something very special.

I’m just missing Terry Wogan and Jimmy Young on radio2 in the mornings.
Janet and John stories, recipe of the day etc., and the banter!
Good clean fun.
Is there anything similar today?
