I'll statt with one who not many people will know unless they follow horse racing. Megan Nicholls, daughter of trainer Paul, is only 27, but her knowledge of the sport is amazing, she is a real professional, and likes to have a laugh. Also she has another career modelling clothers for events like Royal Ascot and is probably one of the best looking women on teleivision.

You'll only know her if you watch Look North, but Carole Malia is really good and down to earth. To people over 50, this show will mean the legend that was Mike Neville, but Carole has become just as well liked.

I know there were issues that brought him down, and seemingly women found him hard to work with, but Frank Bough was a complete professional. No one these days could cover a general election one day and then host Granstand the next. I met Frank Bough at Eatls Court when he was presenting Breakfast Time and a was a complete gentleman.
