New thread.

I'm fed up waiting for the none stories to finish. I just want to know what Gary and Sarah are hiding and has it anything to do with Theo.

Calendargirl Wed 17-Jun-26 11:22:34

I like Kit, think he and Sarah look really ‘connected’ in their part. 😍

However, not very sensible looking at engagement rings in the Rovers, before asking Sarah.

I mean, who would possibly overhear?

🤷‍♀️

(I fear it won’t be a happy ending somehow, the marriage idea).

Dottydots Wed 17-Jun-26 11:33:01

I had a few tears last night as when my son was 14 he went through what Sam is experiencing. He spent a week in the clinic and was then as right as rain. He's 59 now and, thankfully he has never experienced it again. The doctors and I couldn't understand what triggered it.

Doodledog Wed 17-Jun-26 14:04:16

That must have been terrifying, Dottydots. It’s good to hear that it’s in the past now.

Isn’t the actor playing Nick dreadful? I’m away with friends just now and am catching up while I have a bit of time to myself. His reactions are so hammy!

Devorgilla Wed 17-Jun-26 16:35:11

Hopefully, Dottydots, the Sam story will be sensitively done. It's good your son got early treatment and was able to move forward.

Mopsie Thu 18-Jun-26 17:45:49

He’s so bad! Reduces the impact of the storyline when the actor can’t deliver the lines effectively 😞

BlueBelle Thu 18-Jun-26 18:04:39

Who is so bad Mopsie ?

Charleygirl5 Thu 18-Jun-26 19:51:49

Another evening of football, are we not the lucky ones?

Calendargirl Thu 18-Jun-26 20:52:22

BlueBelle

Who is so bad Mopsie ?

I think she means Nick.

Poor Debbie sad

Calendargirl Tue 23-Jun-26 06:46:37

Well!

The dinner party from hell.

I thought Kit’s meal looked good, shame no one seemed to eat anything.

I bet his triple chocolate pud would have been yummy.

As for the revelations…..

Why on earth didn’t Sarah ring the police when Theo fell? Instead of Gary?

She could have explained how she went looking for Todd, Theo snatched his phone and threw it away, lunged for her, she grabbed a scaffolding pole and used it to defend herself from this madman who the police were already looking for (I think),

Self defence.

But no, as usual, much easier to lie and involve others….

Don’t think the engagement ring will be needed somehow. sad

Debbie is getting on my nerves now. I hope she soon heads off to the Amalfi coast for an extended holiday.

Sarnia Tue 23-Jun-26 08:21:27

So now we know. Sarah should have rung Kit. He would have smoothed everything over for her as he has done in the past. I suppose this will drag on for another few weeks until something gives.
Has anyone any idea about Corrie times for next week? I am unable to find anything past next Sunday.

Calendargirl Tue 23-Jun-26 08:32:10

I think times aren’t released so far ahead Sarnia.

Along with the plot details!

Maggiemaybe Tue 23-Jun-26 08:45:19

Agreed. Ringing 999 and explaining what had happened would have done the trick, and spared us all the last few months of randoms being arrested and suspected. And wouldn’t there have been DNA evidence galore at the crime scene anyway after both Sarah and Gary had been down there?

Please tell me the view of Gary’s back and that slightly demented look on Sarah’s face in the last scenes doesn’t mean she’s going to try to shut him up now?

Actually, I’m quite looking forward to the next instalment (whenever it may be). grin

nanaK54 Tue 23-Jun-26 09:27:00

Oh blow I didn't want it to be any of the main characters.

Load of nonsense really, of course she could and should have called Kit and not involved Gary at all.

I thought drunk Summer was very funny, she seems to have come into her own lately.

Poor Sam, he is still (obviously) a very poorly boy...not enjoying Nick's angst ridden face!

Debbie, goodness just get away for a nice holiday with the lovely Ronnie!

Charleygirl5 Tue 23-Jun-26 09:40:41

The drugs Sam will be on take a minium of 6 weeks to show the slightest improvement . Not the overnight mini success which was portrayed recently.

I have known for ages it was Sarah. I didn't want her as a main character to vanish to prison.

I can't stand Mary and I wish she also would go on a well-earned holiday and never return. She is like an irritating fly.

Clawdy Thu 25-Jun-26 16:38:29

Yes, the Mary character is incredibly annoying and improbable.

Aveline Sun 28-Jun-26 08:53:50

Just catching up after missing a week's worth of Corrie. Oh well. At least we know whodunnit but how stupidly to react Sarah.

FindingNemo15 Sun 28-Jun-26 08:57:43

Anyone know when Corrie is showing this week?

Maggiemaybe Sun 28-Jun-26 10:05:49

It looks as though we just have an hour on Tuesday at 8.45pm and 30 minutes on Wednesday at 7.45pm.

BlueBelle Sun 28-Jun-26 10:37:25

Mary hugely irritates me too Charliegirl wish she’d disappear
Totally agree about Sam and the drugs there is not an epiphany the next day they can take weeks to kick in if at all

Aveline Sun 28-Jun-26 11:50:11

He's masking though. Still hallucinating and making horrific drawings. Definitely not fit for discharge. Poor boy though. Worrying about losing his intellectual edge. I remember people on these drugs complaining about feeling somehow mentally restricted, just not themselves. That must be horrible for them.

sodapop Sun 28-Jun-26 13:05:41

And unfortunately the reason why a lot of people stop taking their medication Aveline

Aveline Sun 28-Jun-26 13:12:06

I know. It's awful all round.
