Enjoyed it, good Friday night fare!

So formulaic but quite enjoyed it, the cheekbones are to die for.
The scenery was lovely, how I would love one of those “cottages” right on the beach.
I had read nothing about it and I wondered what Jack Mooney suddenly popped up.
Might become a Friday night regular.

Love a "Cosy crime" series. This fits the bill for me, same but different.

We enjoyed it. It will improve Friday nights. I agree about the eyes and the cheekbones.
It wasn’t until I caught sight of Robert Thorogood in the credits that I realised that besides The various Paradise series, he also wrote The Marlow Murder Club, the one that starts with a 77-year-old woman swimming up the Thames at night.

I quite enjoyed it but thought the actress playing the lead was really overdoing the "awkwardness" of her character. Wooden/hammy in her bearing and manner. Hope they've toned that down a bit in next episodes. I remember when "Neville" started as DCI in Death in Paradise they really overplayed his quirkiness at the beginning.

As silly as the other two but not challenging; inoffensive and fun.

I think she might be supposed to have autism.. Her mannerisms are similar to Astrid in Paris..

I really couldn't stand the lead character and ended up switching off. Doesn't happen often..

I enjoyed it too! I was surprised by DI Mooney's lack of character credibility from his other Paradise!

Currently watching episode 2. It’s a relaxing evening programme.

I thought the acting was dreadful and the story line poor. Usually Australian programmes are so much better!
