The Christmas Day scene with the Bailey family was pathetic. They were sitting feeling sorry for themselves with a space under the Christmas tree where the presents used to be and no turkey to cook. Debbie Webster , upmarket hotel owner, was sitting in their midst. Instead of Debbie suggesting they went to the hotel to eat it fell to Aliya and Yasmeen to invite them all to Speed Daal to eat the leftovers 🙄

The Christmas day episode was very poor wasn't it.

Are you aware that Cassie, Claire Sweeney is taking part in Dancing on Ice? At least she will not be in Coronation Street while she is practising ice dancing.

I thought she was good when she was in Brookside but that was many years ago. Whenever I see her I feel she could do with a soak in a bath because to me she rarely looks clean.

The Bailey family deserve an award for their bad acting. Not helped of course by poor storylines. The scene where they arrived home to find Ed with a bloody nose after an alleged burglary was awful. A split second after arriving dopey Michael noticed the presents were missing. It was like a pantomime. I expected him to skip round the room then turn to the camera and excitedly say “oh no, boys and girls will you help me find them?

Does anyone else suspect Daniel is the secret bidder for the Rovers?

I was rather hoping that Ed would not survive the beating up last night. Aggie is well out of it, good for her, she probably decided that her role in the soap would damage her reputation.

Why would Newton and Ridley sell Jenny the Rovers when she couldn’t run it profitably last time ? Let’s hope it’s Damon that buys it.

I don’t like the Baileys except for Glory, who’s very cute.

Ooh, yes, ghastly old grandad Bailey, not to mention Dopey Ed. They need Aggie back to sort them out but I read somewhere that she's not coming back at all. Don't know why.

I wish Cassie would disappear. She's dreadful, looks quite creepy and she's obviously a bad influence on Horrible Hope - there's another one headed for trouble.
