The news of an alleged abuser was mooted weeks ago by the ex-partners of this man...they reported this to C4 and nothing was done....yet today, it makes the news on ITN. C4 have not commented and this man is still on the show...its disgusting...where is the safety and protection of his new'wife?'

i don;t think we should be discussing a current case where someone has been arrested.
i presume this is uk jurisdiction.?
it may contravene the strict liability rule, contempt of court act 1981.
here is an extract from google to explain:
Section 1 of the Contempt of Court Act 1981 sets out and defines “the strict liability rule”. This provides that it is a contempt to publish any matter which creates a substantial risk of serious prejudice or impediment to the course of justice in legal proceedings, irrespective of the intention behind the publication.

Why shouldn’t this case be discussed? It’s being reported in the press, he denies the allegations. Why should he be given preferential treatment. An individual arrested for burglary would be named. Why not an individual accused of coercive control or domestic abuse
