Wolf Hall

Just have the first one (Wolf Hall ) on the go currently. I have to have google nearby years ago it would have been a dictionary.
I am not complaining but rather enjoying something completely different, something I can’t read within a few days and that keeps me going.
Trust me to find this so late, I have the the third so will need to get the second in soon.

I loved the trilogy. I received Wolf Hall as a Christmas gift, and had to restrain myself from disappearing off from family fun to read it: in my room: in Tudor England in my mind.

I prefer the books to the tv series, excellent as it was.
Mark Rylance did not fit the chunky workman body described by the author, but a wonderful actor of course.
I think I may now re read all three books.I can recommend her non fiction book Ink In The Blood too, she has suffered with ill health for most of her life, yet really made her life count by her writing.RIP to Hilary.

Books are brilliant. I have them on audio books, and they are truly excellent to hear. I was almost scared to read or hear the third book as - obviously - history could not altered -0 and we knew that Cromwell had to die.

I 'did' this period for my GCE History - wish these books had been around then.

I've finished watching it and it looks like it's only available for another 25 days. Looking forward to Season 2, whenever it is announced.

Will give this a go.. Only snag.. Mark Rylance will have to stop thinking of "Bing the Bunny"

Mark Rylance was fabulous. He manages to convey so much without saying a word. I loved the TV productions and have read the trilogy twice just because it was so enjoyable.

I love the trilogy of books too. Read the first book after seeing the TV adaptation, so Cromwell's voice is Mark Rylance's!
