I have never seen his sister before, or made me weep when she told of her dad reading the newspaper, and his tears dripping onto it.

I liked his music.

I'm a big fan, as were my mum and my daughter.
My girl would have loved this programme - she found Freddie intriguing and enchanting.

Your daughter was right MissAdventure, intriguing and enchanting he was.
It’s been a great programme, very emotional and such great music. We won’t hear his like again.

I remember my mum driving us somewhere (a bright yellow escort with squeaky brakes)

My daughter was only little, but we had queen on and were giving it our all, singing bohemian rhapsody.

Just as it got to the final crashing crescendo, flames burst out from the bonnet!

I saw them at their last tour, he was amazing.

So glad I didn’t miss this, lots of joy and lots of tears ?

It’s hard to believe it’s thirty years. ? We saw Queen in 1977, around the time of the Silver Jubilee. My ears took days to recover from the experience and my eyes have never recovered from Freddie in a harlequin cat suit just feet away from me!

He is like a delicious cat, slinking around the stage.

I nursed one the very first people admitted to a British hospital with full blown AIDS I will never forget that lovely young man.

I remember watching a programme about a man with aids years ago.
His partner held him in his arms and sang "you are my sunshine" to him.
How tragic it all was...

Brilliant programme!
