We watched this last night. The fiendish Marla reminded me at first of Lucy Worsley! Same sort of hair, sharp features...?

A riveting watch, though not quite what I was expecting.
Must watch the Netflix documentary.

It frightened the life out of me!?. My DD laughed when I told her until I pointed out it was her inheritance that was at stake.....

No, let’s hope it isn’t able to happen here, it’s a very scary concept once you’ve seen the film.

I enjoyed it as well. Quite disturbing, I also wouldn’t like guardianship to catch on here!

We both enjoyed this and I believe Rosamund Pike won a Golden Globe Best Actress award for her part in the film. The Legal Guardian practice is very common in the USA, there is a Netflix documentary about it with some heartbreaking stories. Let’s hope it doesn’t catch on over here.
