Thanks Seacliff for no spoilers. I'm watching Unforgotten tomorrow. I've just caught up with LoD tonight. Brilliant.

MrM hasn't seen any of the other series and is keen to watch this one with me
BlueBell I've seen every series twice through and was amazed at how much I missed first time round.

I'm sure it will be a scene stealer when Steve does recognise Ryan. Bet it won't be face to face.

Oh, all those loose ends to tie up in the final episode. I can’t wait. Steve will surely recognise Ryan the Rat when he gets to see him. I hope that he finds a good physio to sort out his back spasms though otherwise it is early retirement for him.

Re Arnott's back pain, I'm just wondering if he will be bumped off because there's a bleak future for him otherwise. Young man addicted to painkillers? I think Arnott may soon be for the chop.

If anyone is interested in a bit of vintage bent copper hunting I have just watched episode 1 of Between the Lines with Neil Pearson. It’s on BBC iplayer. .

Between the Lines was advertised at the end of Line of Duty and I switched over to watch it. I thought it was very dated and not at all engaging. The main characters were definitely familiar to me and I'm sure I watched it at the time and enjoyed it.

If anyone is going my money's on Kate. Shes going to realise who that young copper really is, then......

Steve saw Hastings meet up with Steph maybe he’s suspicious and sent her to the car so he could plant a bug in her house.

I thought Kate and Steve did realise who Ryan Pilkingron was - they were looking at photos of him - Steve mentioned how he nearly cut his fingers off.

Yes, they know he was OCG.

Kate thought she recognised Ryan and when the car incident happened they checked him out on the database, realised who he was and that he has been with the OCG all along.
I'm glad Kate explained how Ryan had managed to get into the Police force because I was wondering that! No convictions since he was a child and so had dropped off the system. Hmm.....I'd say the system needs reforming!

I was wondering who it was that reportedly "mentored" Ryan. He/she didn't do a very good job - or perhaps he/she did !

That would be PC Simon Banerjee who met Ryan when he and his mates were harassing an elderly man on their estate. He did seem genuinely a good guy but you never can tell with LOD.

I'm on tenterhooks wondering what's going to happen next. With Buckells being questioned, that horrid little squirt Pilkington being rumbled by Kate and Steve, and the young WPC with her broken wrist - just how far do the tentacles of the OCG and bent coppers reach?

Caught up with 3 last night. Brilliant. Watched it without MrM this week. He's new to the LoD and asks so many questions so will watch it again with him. The hour just flew by.

Buckells is too soft to be bent . Pretty sure that warden that broke the WPCs wrist was the one that poured scolding hot water over Lindsay Denton's hand.

muse it was her I did mention it in a previous post. I’m going to watch it again there was too much to take in in one sitting.

Oh forgot I meant to ask what anyone makes of all those locks on Davidson’s flat? It’s a very posh flat by the way for a DI.

Just read that Sarah Hughes died ( cancer) the day after this was published. I’d enjoyed reading it and looked forward to more. ?
