That can't possibly be fair that Craig gave Ranvir the same mark as Caroline! Grrr.

Any predictions for the dance off? I think based on tonight’s performance Clara will be out.

If anyone lands in the dance off with Caroline I think it will be curtains for them as the judges love Caroline.

I preferred the cat and I don't really like cats. Ranvir was fabulous.

An all ladies dance off - maybe Clara and Caroline?

The judges votes were quite generous and very close tonight so it will be the public that will decide who is in the dance off.

Still think last weeks dance off was a fix.

I know the public vote for who they like rather than who’s the best dancer, but still...

I also think it will be Clara and Caroline in the dance off.
I used my 3 votes for Bill, Ranvir and Jamie.

I think it's very unfair that the judges are favouring Caroline, and I hope she doesn't get the public votes.

I hope she is in the dance off but they are all good ... Clara at her worst is much better than Caroline.

Don't get me wrong, I can see what you are all saying about the discrepancy in the marking, but Caroline did put on a performance worthy of her scores. She is also technically strong due to her training. I can understand why the judges liked her.
I am a contemporary of hers and my London stage school went up against Arts Educational students at competitions. The adjudicators always liked their dances.
In the end, however, we often used to win on originality and creativity so don't despair!

If the majority of the public don’t like Caroline she won’t get their votes. It’s a popularity contest as well as a dance one (and that often makes the judges cross).
I think Maisie’s choreographed dance did her no favours last week with the public and that’s why she ended up in the bottom two.
Similarly the public may not like Jamie’s dance this week although he danced great.

I also wonder whether Maisie's fans have deserted her because Eastenders has been off air for a long while and she is so young that that is all she is known for.

I didn’t know of Maisie until Strictly either Ellianne.
“Soap stars” are often very talented and do well in these type of competitions. Kelvin Fletcher who had been in Emmerdale won last year didn’t he?

I had only heard of Caroline, Ranvir and Bill. I had never heard of any of the others before.

I think JJ and Clara will be in the dance-off.

Just an aside- why does the BBC pay celebs to read off the terms and conditions each week? Could Tess or Claudia not manage it? To me it is a waste of money.

I thought Giovanni’s choreography was brilliant tonight, he’s very good indeed at bringing the best out of whoever he dances with. Ranvir is good, but I don’t think she’s outstanding. Karen is the female equivalent, she seems to build the confidence of her partners so well. My favourite dance tonight was Bill and Oti, he’s the first man over 40 who’s ever been good.

Very good question Charley. Strictly must have a very high budget to spend - lots of wages to pay, costume dept., makeup, hair and spray tanning etc. etc.

First series ever that I’ve not voted but I didn’t enjoy Clara’s or Caroline’s routines so they’re in my bottom two. Wasn’t overseen on Jamie’s dance either tbh...

I am not keen on the type of dance Jamie did, but voted for him as I thought it was danced well.

The choice of music often colours my decision who to vote for, if I like it, I tend to look more favourably on the dance.

Find Caroline’s fanning her face irritating. Can’t stand Bill’s hair, looked so much better pulled back. For one moment I thought he had had a haircut, but no such luck.

Can't wait for tonight to see who goes - I really hope it's Caroline - she really irritates me on and off the dance floor. I didn't see her lick her partner, thankfully.......yuck!
I like everyone else and I think the standard this year is amazing!!

Although I wouldn't necessarily agree, I do think you are all right about Caroline being in the dance off, BUT I do think the judges will save her.

Yes, DanniRae the standard is incredibly high this year. We're only about halfway through and there have been a number of 10s.

Caroline managed to escape doing much dancing last night, whilst climbing up the ladder for the cat, etc at the start. As someone mentioned earlier, she then repeated all the basic Cha Cha steps and not much else. I didn't like her before Strictly and like her even less now with her histrionics during the first couple of shows, fanning her face, licking FGS !

I like everyone except her. It may be JJ in the dance off again.
