I loved The Blind Side-

Yes, I thought Blind Side was brilliant too, great acting!

Empire of the Sun is another that left an impression on me-

The Apple. Au Revoirs les Enfants. Shawshank Redemption. Shutter Island.

Midnight Express is a movie I could NEVER watch again although it's a brilliant film about what happens if you smuggle drugs through customs. I think it's a film all teenagers should watch in school
Another film I'd never watch again is the Exorcist. Scared the bjesus out of me when I was 14 and even though there are scarier movies out today just cant bring myself to re watch it.

I watched The Shape of Water and The Favourite as they had won Oscars and BAFTAs.......I have no idea why they won???

I watched - The Deer Hunter- a very good film but I could never watch again - the Russian Roulette game!

One of the films I watch any time it comes up on TV is The Scent of a Woman - so well acted.

Arachnophobia. Watched it many years ago. Found out recently it is meant to be a comedy! Not going to watch it again to look for the funny bits lol x

Schindler's List was one film I've never forgotten. I cried so much at it. Others:

We never fail to laugh and cry at "Groundhog Day", one of our favourites. We also adore "Untouchable", a French film based on a true story, and found ourselves watching yet again "Some Like it Hot" on television over Christmas. My eldest granddaughters watched this at least every day when they came down on holiday, probably started when about 6 - goodness knows what they thought of the cross dressing! They still love it, now aged 26 and 23!

Must dig some of those out and binge.

Hated and had nightmares for years about The Exorcist.
Genuinely thought The Bad Lieutenant with Nicholas Cage was a spoof, his acting was SO bad.

Soldier Blue ,sad and frightening ,I saw it when I was just 16 .Feel good films-The Way We Were ,The Bishops Wife I watch them both at leaast oce every year

quizqueen oh the Notebook made me weep buckets . James Garner is so lovely and it's such a heartbreaking story about love and caring . Defy anyone to watch it and not be moved.

Two seen a long time ago that have always stayed with me are The Colour Purple and Rabbit Proof Fence both hard hitting and sad beyond words

A Night to Remember

I saw this as a child and it sparked my interest in Titanic

The James Cameron was quite a feast for the eyes but not a patch on A Night to Remember

And Jaws!

I must have seen that 20 times or more
