"New" Radio 2 schedules. What IS new?

Just had a look over the much trumpeted BBC Radio 2 re-vamped schedules and.........well, same old, same old, as far as I can make out.

Chris (Mister Noisy) Evans,Cuddly 'Uncle' Ken Bruce, Jeremy Vine (although I'd miss his show if it went), the crushingly corny Steve Wright (is he blackmailing someone at the Beeb?), Simon Mayo, blah, blah, blah.

I was expecting a thorough sweep of the deadwood with a new broom.

So, I think I'll head off to LBC......

I gave up on Radio 2 a while back Margs . I can't bear Chris (big head) Evans and Steve (irritating) Wright although I quite like Ken Bruce.

I tend to listen to my local BBC radio station these days where you don't have to out up with these giant ego's who like the sound of their own voices.

I listen to Classic FM and Radio 4. I gave up with Radio 2 years ago. I couldn't abide the silly chatter of most of the presenters, Terry Wogan was the exception. ??
