I have looked through the double edition of the Radio Times to see if there is anything I particularly want to watch or record. I have to say it seems like a load of cr*p! The only programme I will definitely see is the Cornley Polytechnic Society's A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong. Last year's Peter Pan Goes Wrong was brilliant, I laughed until I cried!
Is there anything you are looking forward to watching?

I didn't have the telly on during the day (nothing worth watching) then switched on hoping to find something at about 8pm but not a thing that wasn't either a repeat or rubbish. Don't watch the soaps, gave up on Midwife years ago (same every week) and hate ancient films/comedy shows. Gave up, back to ipad and then went to bed at 9.30.
It's the same every year really.
New Years eve will be the next boring night.

We just watched our recording of Dr Who once most of the family had left, then Victoria at 9. It was a pleasant ending to a busy day.

Switched over 5 minutes from the end of Eastenders and was shocked at the storyline. I do not know the back story as do not watch it normally but thinking of those who have had a lonely Christmas perhaps depressed, to see the deaths of two young girls in such a way appalled me.
Dissappointed with Mrs Brown, they could at least have got an actor of similar height, and not happy with the way the shorter man was treated.
(Got Cystitis for Christmas so not in the best humour perhaps)

Best thing on TV was the wonderful Andre Rieu concert.
Superb. Magnificent. Beautiful. Love him.

I too enjoyed Andre Rieu. I think he does a great job introducing music to people who might otherwise not listen to it much - like me!
I also felt uncomfortable re: Mrs Brown's Boys and the way the shorter man was treated. I normally enjoy MBB and did find the Christmas tree funny - but not much else.

It is great that there has (possibly!) been something on TV to suit so many different tastes. Nothing could make me watch Andre Rieu so it is good to see his programme was enjoyed by some else why have it in the schedules. I really enjoyed Call the Midwife and look forward to the new series. Not sure “enjoyed” is the right word for last night’s ‘Enders. Kept thinking “oh do get on with it”. Found MBB ok, guessed the reason for Rory having cosmetic surgery was because the last actor to play him has left the cast. Didn’t find the short suitor story offensive, any offence was counterbalanced by said short person being a whizz in bed allegedly.
