I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I thought they were quite a pleasant group - apart from the whole couldn't they afford their own holidays thing. And why is it always Tuscany? Italy is full of interesting places. Also surprised when people who've obviously led far more varied and travel filled lives than me can't manage an Italian shopping list or make gnocchi. That's probably just me though

It just seemed like another freebie for a few forgotten ''slebs'' to me. Poor old Judith Chalmers - never been to Italy before! Maybe couldn't afford it.
Not a very interesting bunch really.

Oh I didn't watch it because I thought it was another cookery programme blush
Might give it a go, but the celebrities font particularly inspire me.

I quite liked Rula, but I found Diana Moran irritating, I think she’s on the way to being the bossy one of the group. Poor Ian Lavender was pushed into an exercise class he clearly didn’t want to do!

She made sure we all knew she was a Countess!

I found it boring and yes, Rula was very embarrassing.

I was going to watch this on catch up but I can't stand Rula Lenska so having read the OP I don't think I'll bother.

I thought Rula was embarrassing too.

This new series began last night and my husband and I were interested in watching it as we love Italy and its food. Entertaining as it was, I was really uncomfortable with Rula Lenska drooling over anything in trousers. She kept touching, leaning over, nudging and flirting with the (admittedly gorgeous) Italian men. I'm not sure if I was being overly sensitive but I don't think Johnny Ball (also one of the celebrities) could have done this without complaint.
