Ever more ridiculous adverts.

I almost never watch T adverts (do the record-and-fast-forward thing) but if I ever do, am astonished at how bizarre they are.

However, daily, some bumph pops through my letterbox showing some supposedly retired couple either frolicing on white sheets whilst reading their bank statement, or contemplating their will whilst painting a room, dressed in clean smart clothes. Who are they?

PS: actually I do have some friends who do modelling to boost their pensions! haven't ever spotted them though.

Sometimes you need to niggle about silly little things to make you able to take the big stuff
I haven't seen that one Phoenix but I can't imagine what chewing gum has to do with a wedding There's some real crass ones on at the moment although most of them go over my head and I rarely know what they are advertising
The one I do like is the haribo where the adults talk like kids

I hope it doesn't increase the sales of chewing gum phoenix - there is too much of the nasty stuff stuck all over the pavements in towns and cities.

Perhaps we should be like Singapore and ban it altogether

Sorry but yes it is. My life is bloody awful as I know yours has been so I do apologise. Let us just deal with what is relevant and important and not bother with the minutiae of life.

That's me told.

To many even watches.

Why do you even watch even watch adverts? They are rubbish and actually that one has been on for many months and is meaningless.

So, we have an ad for someone deciding to jilt their potential bridegroom at the last minute, she's got the wedding frock (love the word frockgrin) everything seems to be set up, but at the last minute she decides against it.

The ad is for chewing gum...confused

If anyone can explain the concept behind that, I would love to be enlightened, or though I suppose the fact that I'm asking about it says something!

Still won't be buying any chewing gum though, revolting stuff!
