Did anyone see the series Big Little Lies with Reece Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman? I know it is on Sky its an American series from the novel by Liane Moriarty. Its about parents at a primary school and there are lots of good parts for women. I really enjoyed it, the domestic violence stuff was scary, and there were some good child actors in it as well. If you've got Sky I would recommend it.

Yes, it's really good.Have downloaded all episodes and am on the 4th one.
Monterey looks lovely what an amazing place to live.
Alexander Skarsgard is gorgeous! blush but plays a very damaged character in this. All the acting is excellent.

Yes, the book was set in Australia, and this is set in Monterey in California, but it doesn't matter really.Just watched the penultimate episode and saving the last one until tomorrow night.

I enjoyed the book and the series. I think it was fairly true to the book. Beautiful houses and scenery, Great characters. I read they are doing a second series, and getting the author of the book to write it. Can't wait!

I don't normally like many American series, but this was so good, I really loved it. I will read the book now. I watched the lot in two hits. The music was great too, apparently the play list is on Spotify.

I've been to Monterey, and walked along that promenade, it's beautiful and I'd love to go back some day.

I thought the series was good, the last two episodes were the best.

I enjoyed this and hope that there is another series. Good story and great actors.

I read the book and enjoyed it very much but we don't have Sky so wasn't able to watch it.

I think I would be a bit disappointed at the fact that it was set in America (Why?) and not Australia, as all Liane Moriarty books are set in Australia and Nicole Kidman is, of course, an Aussie.

Perhaps it will be available on DVD?

I didn't see the film, but enjoyed the book. I am working my way through most of Liane Moriarty's. DD tells me that she has a sister who is also an author so will give hers a try.

Just Googled. Liane has two sisters who are authors - Jaclyn and Nicola.

I'm quite glad I hadn't read the book. Sometimes I'm more critical of the film after that. I loved the scenery and amazing houses. But the actual story was very good, many layers to it all. I sort of want another series, but hope it's as good.
