So underneath the giggling, busty blonde there was a serious dramatic talent. I'm not sure that rings true, but it could be that she is adept at acting the giggly, busty blonde enough to fool me!

I liked the format greatly - more like theatre than TV.

Sorry .... I would have preferred the story to be just that, (like Cilla), although the way the director had Barabara interacting with herself was interesting.

I found it very very slow. Also I'm not a fan of the flash back technique, I would have preferred the story to be , although the way the director had Barbara interacting with her oadt was interesting.

Watched it, not sure if it was the best way to tell her story. I also thought Samantha Spiro was spot on, the younger version not so good. The father has a lot to answer for.

Only saw bits and pieces maybe that's why I found it confusing.
I've never been a fan so wasn't really interested

Didn't like it, watched the recording on double speed as it was very slow. Samantha Spiro was way better than Jaime Whinstone.

I didn't like it sorry, difficult to believe she was the innocent the play portrayed

merlotgran Sun 07-May-17 22:22:39

Sorry but I thought it was tedious.

I watched this programme tonight and its the best TV I've seen in ages. Well acted and wonderful story. Can highly recommend if you have catch up.
