I watched to re run of the last two episodes of Line of Duty on playback just to refresh myself as the new series starts this Sunday. Oh my God!!! it was riverting I had forgotten how much, I found myself shouting for Kate to 'be careful' when she was chasing Cotton in the final scenes, cant wait for the new series now. Anyone else watched the re runs??

Or maybe husband knew where she was, thought she was having an affair and wanted her to come clean.
Won't be the same if they write Steve out.

I've given up trying to work this one out. Just have to be patient for a week.

I still don't know how she got up from being within a tadpoles breathe of having a chainsaw whizzed down her body It doesn't take much to confuse me see days
So do you all think she knows her husband is balalaver man ?
Poor kids that's all I can say whose looking after them whilst the parents are out and about on their killing sprees ?

Mr C and I have been debating if early days Huntley said something like 'it's over' or maybe 'it will soon be over' to her husband, or posssibly he said it to her. So, implying a shared secret? We aren't sure. Anyone else remember it or are we hallucinating?

kittylester Tue 11-Apr-17 07:08:50

And what about the new bod that vickie mcclure was avoiding in briefings?

I'd just like to say that I bagsied Lee Ingleby years ago - so hands off!!

Iam64 Tue 11-Apr-17 07:15:51

Cornergran, I remember that. At the time I thought she meant the case would soon be over so she'd be home more but, who knows?

rosesarered Tue 11-Apr-17 13:20:51

I don't think the killer is her husband (Lee Ingleby) he looked too nervous and worried and is very slim, the killer/attacker was stocky, how about the security guard down by the doors who let Steve into the office building?

Oh dear! I can't even follow the threads on here, so have no chance at all when watching it! Great viewing at the moment with this, Broadchurch and Homeland, which is so much better than last series.

MawBroon Sun 16-Apr-17 21:59:16

Didn't see that one coming either!

whitewave Sun 16-Apr-17 22:00:28

So what with the AC12 person?!

Pittcity Sun 16-Apr-17 22:01:35

Why didn't they notice that she kept her hand under the table? Call themselves detectives!

gettingonabit Sun 16-Apr-17 22:04:27

Maneetshock. Hope her impending newborn is not Hilton's love child.....

Ana Sun 16-Apr-17 22:05:26

She's so clever, but she can't just keep swigging down painkillers - that wrist looks really nasty!

trisher Sun 16-Apr-17 22:06:17

Why has no-one noticed her arm, including hubby?
The children conveniently disappear don't they? I could have done with some like that.
Pleased Steve isn't dead, but he isn't going to get the Inspector's job is he. The attacker seemed to have missed his face-no bruises to be seen.

Welshwife Sun 16-Apr-17 22:07:27

I wondered last week about Maneet as she had access to so much info. Be interesting to see if Huntley's senior officer dies anything now she has spurned him!

Badenkate Sun 16-Apr-17 22:08:35

DH doesn't understand why I think Roz Huntley is manipulative b**tch - I think he has a crush on her ?

Maggiemaybe Sun 16-Apr-17 22:08:43

Blimey, she's good, isn't she? Even though I know she's a wrong 'un, I'm in awe of the way she turned that interview round!

Badenkate Sun 16-Apr-17 22:09:54

Sorry I put too many *s in b*tch ?

Ana Sun 16-Apr-17 22:10:05

Yes, me too Maggie...

Iam64 Sun 16-Apr-17 22:11:39

She is terrifying isn't she. So controlling and convincing. Awful scene when she slapped and bulled her husband, then comforted him when he cried.

tanith Sun 16-Apr-17 22:13:38

So pleased they didn't kill Steve off and I agree she certainly did a number on them in the interview. Still trying to puzzle out who bashed Steve though or was it the husband?

Ana Sun 16-Apr-17 22:17:34

I don't think it was her husband.

Maggiemaybe Sun 16-Apr-17 22:27:15

That new bloke's still acting a bit oddly. My protegee Jodie was keeping her head down tonight, but what about Maneet shock? Well done for pointing the finger of suspicion at her last week, Welshwife. Perhaps you should apply for a job with AC12 (or maybe not, considering the occupational hazards of losing a finger/getting shot/being bundled over a nearby banister).

Rigby46 Sun 16-Apr-17 22:28:40

But how could RH's boss have arranged to meet M to pick up the file when he had planned to be bedding her (RH). I'm confused. I agree ana not the husband but who is balaclava man?

BlueBelle Sun 16-Apr-17 22:29:27

No don't think it's the husband he seems a bit weak
Blimey she's a cool cookie
But sorry I d have been in intensive care with that arm, I only had a tiny scratch from athletes foot and was at deaths door (slight, only slight exaggeration) with cellutitis, she's got the mankiest of wounds half way up her arm and not only is she walking around but not one so and so notices, not even her husband, no one bumps her, you know how often you knock an injury ......
I m still stuck on how she got out of the clutches of the chainsaw
