Can anyone enlighten me as to why new movies "on general release" never come to a cinema near me?
If they do it's for such a limited time that I miss it.
I expect it is to do with profit and the fact that some films are a minority taste.
But I find the majority taste so tasteless that I can't believe huge numbers of movie buffs are being ignored.
For example "Manchester by the Sea" has won awards and is on general release but on a Saturday night is not on in any cinema within a 50 mile radius of my home.
How do I get to see good new films?
