I believe these are repeats, I hope so
I'm an avid fan, even H watches it. I eagerly await the new series due to be shown in the UK this year.

Yes they are repeats, but I think the new series starts on 13th February.

These are repeats. Does anyone know if a new series is being made? When I saw it being repeated I hoped it was a lead up to a new one.

As Piggly says the BBC are advertising a new series to start on Monday 13.02.17 I didn't see times though.

I love it as I lived in Aus while i was at uni in the 60s. hadn't changed much then.
I think there is a series 5 being made. check on the website!

I think the one starting next week is Series 4 and they are just into production of Series 5 at the moment.

Unfortunately I 'liked' their Facebook page and have seen some trailers for season 4. I hope it doesn't spoil it for me.
I love the way Elizabeth is mellowing, and has come to respect Sarah. George is a bit of a wuss, but I love Carolyn.
Have seen the actors talking about series 4 and it looks as though it will be good.

In Australia Series 4 could only be viewed on Foxtel which left many fans very disappointed. I was finally able to watch it last year and loved it, especially being able to watch more than one episode at a time.

So glad i saw this post. I watched this last year when it was on and loved it. After the series ended there was no information about the next one and we were left with lots of cliff hangers!!! When i saw it was the same series showing at the moment i didnt bother to watch again so if i hadnt seen this post about when the new series starts next week i would have missed it. Have just caught up with the last two episodes to refresh my memory and am looking forward to next week and the follow ups. Thanks Pigglywiggly.

I watched yesterday's episode on i player and was surprised how much I had forgotten. Really looking forward to Monday.

Oh, I'm so pleased it's coming back for a new series. I'd have missed that too, I thought 'twas only a repeat.
