Yet another Scandi tv alert!

Hot on the heels of Nan Kate's recent thread letting us know about Acquitted. Thanks Nan Kate, we have managed to stream it on to the tv through our tablet up to episode 8 spectacularly scenic makes me want to visit Norway. There's a new Icelandic one starting tomorrow called Case, Channel 4 at 10pm. The last Icelandic one was excellent, can't remember the name, but it featured extreme weather conditions and the lead was a hefty police officer with a lot of facial hair who I spotted again in The Missing. Hope this new one will be as good as that. Love Scandi and French drama, hope there's going to be another Spiral soon but in the meantime I'm glad we are getting a taste of other European tv to break up some of the mediocre offerings we get on offer here.

Thanks for the info about tomorrow nights offering! Probably make a mug of hot chocolate before it starts to stave off the hypothermia freeze that I watched the other Icelandic program ... can't for the life of me think of it's title.smile

Fortitude is back on Thursday night, I think 9pm on Sky 1 but might be wrong with time and channel!

Looks like only the first episode of Case is on tv. The other episodes have to be watched online. Hope I'm wrong.

According to my tv planner Case was shown several years ago. I have my recorder set up not to record repeats so it was missing when I checked.

I think there is a new `Fortitude` coming soon . I loved the last one - best thing on TV all year . Looking forward to `Case` tonight .

Ah ha!!!! Just realised how to watch the boxed set for the other programmes in the series!!! Bit slow on the uptake there .......

Yes - watching Case. It is very well directed with excellent acting and cinephotography.

Must look for Acquitted - which channel is it on? And Fortitude?

Thanks to this thread, I was so frustrated at not being able to watch All4 that I've managed to find out how to download onto our smart TV - we've only had it a year....! Now I can watch the rest of Case which had first episode on Channel 4 last week but rest on All4. Thanks everyone.
