Our Girl

I started watching the new series but soon lost interest. Yes, I agree that Lacey Turner (?) was much better in the part.

Oh is that what it is?! Different girl. No, not as good. I lost interest too. Shame.

I shall give it another go this week .

I thought Lacey Turner was much better and I think the family was different and better.

I think Lacey Turner is a much underrated actor.

I agree. There's certainly something special about her. She somehow makes you care about her no matter what role she plays.

Me too, just caught up with it, and really miss Lacey. She was more genuine and from a poor background, very likeable. She had a vulnerability,sad she chose not to return.

I'm afraid I just couldn't watch this programme. I got to the part where they were ambushed by the terrorists and found it too horrifying. I didn't turn it on tonight.

We.were.the same,watched episode one.and could.bea to.watch Al Shabab tactics. Too much like the Anna Freil thing last year. She is a.bit glam too.

I just read a glowing report on her performance on MSN this morning and not knowing what the program was thought I would have a look for it. Perhaps might give it a miss after all.

I thought it was in bad taste, but then I thought, perhaps it shows what the soldiers out there do have to go through.

She certainly didn't look the least bit made up or glam on last nights episode. I thought it actually got better and I shall carry on watching its what happens whether we like it or not.

We haven't watched any of this new series, but to us the person doing the voice over, to promote the programme, sounds as though she is saying 'Argo', rather than 'Our Girl'?

Just caught up with last episode and wished I hadn't bothered.

Thought the chap who played Elvis was a very mediocre actor.

The terrorist was the only actor who rang true.
