Everyone on Albert Square still has their decorations up and it's half way through January.
Nobody is observing dry January either!

hihi, and I thought you were talking about the totally crazy and OTT story lines usually reserved for Christmas - with most of them running still!

I think it is because there was even more misery than usual this Christmas so they had to eek out the twelve days to fit it all in.

In Eastenders it`s still within the 12 days of Christmas, although it`s covered several episodes, the storyline is only about a couple of days. I wish my tree was still up, it brightened the room up!

Number please, there are some beautiful lights you can get nowadays. Maybe get some of them or a larva lamp to brighten up the room instead.

There is probably a statistical correlation with the length of an Eastenders Christmas and how many people they can kill off in front of the Queen Vic in Albert square.

They usually try to keep up with the calendar and slot in small relevant scenes.
Usually the weather gives away the fact that they film well in advance.

Have they had New Year yet?

Pittcity Fri 15-Jan-16 14:09:32

Yes whitewave Mick and Linda's wedding was at New Year!
