I am looking forward to tonight's edition. They always manage to rip the contestants to shreds. Painful to watch but very entertaining

Me too - I have to watch through my fingers. Excruciating but compulsive

Deedaa Wed 16-Dec-15 21:21:03

Can't help loving watching all those egos being punctured tchgrin Hope we have the usual falsified CV's and fantasy business plans.

Pittcity Wed 16-Dec-15 21:29:01

None of the business plans sound feasible to me.

J52 Wed 16-Dec-15 21:31:05

The woman in the orange dress reminds me of Sue Johnston

Does she have a neck J52?

J52 Wed 16-Dec-15 21:38:21

Seems to have one. Mind you the candidates have a lot of ' brass neck'!

I think it was the dress, she looks better with the pearls.

No no no !

Just watched the interviews. None of them had a good idea let alone a business plan. (Not that I know anything [confused).

If I were Sugar I would give the last two half and half of the winnings and fire them both, it would probably be cheaper than trying to get involved with them.

I must admit I do hope that 'Valentino' wins, I thought he was a good team player when the poor girl was so out of her depth whilst project managing the decorating task and he unassumingly took over , others would have let her lose out of sheer competitiveness.

So pleased he won.

What a great opportunity for a lad kicked out of school and as he said himself could have took another route in life.

I genuinely hope he succeeds with his dream.

Well done Joseph.
I may be fickle, but I took him more seriously once he removed his 'wide boy' moustache.
I love moustaches, DH has a moustache.... but didn't like Joseph's.
Made him look like a spiv.

merlotgran Sun 20-Dec-15 22:31:01

Joseph reminded me of Walker, the endearing spiv in Dad's Army.

I'm glad he won.

Jane10 Mon 21-Dec-15 08:32:58

Yes. I was so pleased to hear that the wee spiv had won. He seemed sincere and also flexible and open to new ways of working. Good on him. I hope he does really well in life.

Pittcity Mon 21-Dec-15 08:50:29

So glad that Joseph won. His ad did have the look of a dirty movie though ....

shysal Mon 21-Dec-15 08:58:18

I couldn't stand Joe at the beginning of the process, but ended up pleased for him, I am sure he will do well. Most of the candidates were a dead loss as usual.

It's obvious that the pushy girl, Vana (?), is so competent that she will make her way in business - maybe not the dating app though - with or without Lord Sugar.

J52 Mon 21-Dec-15 10:07:10

What a lovely, determined young man. Just goes to show what determination, hard work and integrity can do. He already seems quite successful.

His mum must be very proud.

I agree, he looked less like a spiv once he had removed his moustache. I was so pleased he won- I am sure that he will work his socks off for Lord Sugar. I could not stand the girl, she was so pushy throughout the programme.

Deedaa Mon 21-Dec-15 22:21:58

Like Shysal I thought he was awful when the series started. I thought he would be out in a couple of weeks. But by the end he seemed to be one of the only ones with a grasp of reality and willingness to listen to advice from others.
