Jill noticed Pip wasn't in her bed in the dining room and was sure she'd seen her sneaking off to Rickyards. This must mean that Bert is still at Brookfield. Have the SWs completely forgotten Bert?
I think I'd rather live in a tent than have my mother and grandmother sitting up drinking cocoa and commenting on my sex life.
So Pip's 'love interest' is the temporary cow man rather than one of the Fairbrothers? Excellent. I wouldn't have discussed the sex life of any of my adult daughters with anyone, much less my mum - got to have some privacy.
I wonder if the pre and post comments on the Archers by the announcers are scripted or off the cuff? The remark ''He's behind you!'' by the announcer at the end of an episode when Rob had been particularly villainous really made me smile.
Ian made some barbed comments to an oblivious Adam when discussing Charlie's farewell party, surely Adam will catch on soon. Kirsty's worries about Helen fell on deaf ears as far as Roy was concerned. Looks as if two blow ups are on the way.
chelseababy is that the same announcer who used to be on very late at night? He got lots of proposals (or propositions) from lonely sleepless ladies and got moved to daytime.
His name is Neil Nunes, he is Jamaican, I think he was interviewed on a Sat morning radio show about working late and this was mentioned. He said he was married and apparently is also a preacher. I don't know the actual reason for his move to daytime. ?
More likely Charlie will allure Adam at his farewell dinner party and they will elope to Gretna Green. A sudden thought - didn't Rob tell Jenny about Adam and Charlie's New Year 2015 kiss and what he called 'Adam and Ian's open relationship'? So why did DJ arrange the party at all?
I notice Rob has been trailed for this evening's episode. Perhaps they have worked out that some of us dislike this storyline and will be grateful for warnings so that we can find something else to do for 13 minutes. Another way of putting it might be: the following episode contains material that listeners of a sensitive disposition may find tedious, implausible, repetitive and depressing.
Ian is being so passive aggressive with Adam - come on Adam, wake up and ask why or better yet, Ian get a grip and behave in character. Honest, straight forward etc.
I don't dislike the storyline it's a great story line for women (and some men) who live with emotionally abusive, controlling, undermining partners who manage to convince the uninitiated that they're the "perfect partner"
Charlie and Adam- can it go anywhere? Hayley and Roy- are they getting back together? Rob and Helen - why doesn't he notice her weight loss? Is it part of his plan? David and Ruth- yawn...
Didn't Ian say a few days ago that there was a food inspector in the shop or cafe? Is this connected with one of Rob's cunning plans? He never liked Fallon and Emma's plans for the cafe so I'm surprised he hasn't sabotaged them yet. AyjayF - I agree, Jazzer is a great character and I want to hear him sing again. Burns' Nicht perhaps?
Stefan may be in a ditch Eirel, I suspect if it was a bit of his body hanging over the feed at Barrow farm, somebody would have noticed…….
Maybe he's in Poland, maybe he'll return and spill the beans and be the one who finally exposes the awful Rob. Maybe Helen will have a small baby by then and be even more psychologically in the thrall of her abusive partner (not sure I can stand it, but I'll try)
