You are so right about Helen's legs, Wilma. According to Wiki: "Before her acting career took off, George was a successful lower leg model, and enjoyed considerable success modelling flight socks for many major catalogues."

I think there is a certain amount of fixing going on.... the judges gave Jay lots of 10's to keep a man in the programme and to get into the finals.
Jay has a very odd dull expression no matter what dance he does , and no matter that he can dance [had dance training already] he cannot give a 'performance'.
I hope that Anita or Katie win, but think that Georgia is more likely to.

Viewer power is favouring the dancers with less (or no) previous experience which should be telling the producers something about the selection of contestants for next time. It may also be the case that the majority of voters didn't vote for Helen and Georgia because they assumed that everyone else would. It has happened before.

I think Helen probably has the best pair of legs we've ever seen on the show. Amazing!

Jo Anne's pink gown was wonderful too when she danced with Anton when Josh Groban was singing.

I was sad to see Helen go this week and unfortunately I voted for both Helen and Georgia, so I faced disappointment one way or another. I also voted for Katie because I thought she was great this week - boy did she look amazing?! She's the 3rd female to wear that wig this year! .

This week I decided to give up supporting Anita because brilliant as she is, Gleb's poor teaching skills keep letting her down and flashy choreography is a poor substitute. As she keeps saying, she just does what she's told.

I still want Georgia to win and Alesha Dixon won despite being in the dance off at the same stage of the competition, so I can but hope. Georgia & Giovanni had the disadvantage of going first this week, so but as much as I hate to admit it, I am beginning to believe the glitterball is already Jay and Aliona's because of the amount of support he has (the Jaypets ). He was great this week, but still overmarked.

I feel sorry for the pros sometimes who stick to the rules and this week was a classic example of it leaving them at a disadvantage. Georgia & Giovanni, Katie & Anton and Helen & Aljaz all danced routines packed with the technical content of their dances. Anita & Gleb did not and were mauled by the judges, so lots of voters voted for them in sympathy. Kellie & Kevin danced about 30 seconds max of Viennese Waltz in a rousing crowd pleasing performance. Jay & Aliona danced a nice Rumba with no hip action from Jay and the judges gave them three 10s and a 9.

So who ends up in the dance off? Two couples who stuck to the rules.

Well my 'flabber is gasted' How on earth could Katie stay and Helen go ?

Oh yes - blimey, I'd make a terrible TV critic. Of course, we have Anita as well. I like the fact she has done so well despite no dance experience but I didn't think she (or Katie Derham) would make it this far.

I wish they wouldn't make the judges DANCE on to the set at the beginning. Even the lovely Darcey looks rather silly and embarrassed.

katie makes the 5th.there are 5 in the semi final and I think that 2 couple leave next week.

I agree, tonight's result was a shock but I did think that Georgia would win unless she fell over.

What a shame that Helen has gone, she is such a beautiful dancer. Just goes to show what a difference the public votes makes. So now we have Kellie, Jay and Georgia left, I think?

I like Katie, I see her no different than when she introduces the Proms.

I like Katie and I think the simpering is just because she doesn't know what to do with her face. I've always wanted Anita to win because she started as a non-dancer and has been consistently good. Craig was nit-picking as usual but Len got her just right. I have a feeling that the voting public might be on her side too. Anyway, I vote on line (free) and she got all three of my votes!

Anita and Katie are the only 2 with no previous dance training. Wish they could get extra credit for that. I simply can't understand why people vote for that dull boy. It would be terrific if Anton could actually win. I don't seem to see Katie as you others do. She seems OK to me.

Katie always looks (to me) as though there is a bad smell around her, with her snooty nose in the air. She comes across as very fond of herself .

I do like Georgia who seems very down to earth and is a very good dancer. I was glad Jay did very well too. Obviously his bad press of 2 weeks ago ago hasn't done him and harm. I agree with Teetime both Georgia and Jay should be in the final.

Anita is wonderful I really don't think they are giving her credit. Anton is having his moment and Katy is benefitting - I do wish she would stop smirking!!! Yes the final I think is Jay and Georgia.

I think Anita will go tonight, her feet let her down in that last dance. I love Georgie and Giovanni, they are a very sweet couple. I think it will be between them and Jay and his limpet.

Georgia and Giovanni have been consistently good throughout in my opinion. I think that they may win.

Anton is definitely enjoying the quarter finals, he probably cannot remember when or if he was ever there before, having had so many duff partners, which I thought was unfair.

Now that we are left with the "proper" dancers, I have a feeling that Anita may be leaving this evening unless the voting public save her.

I agree with you about Katie number, but it must be very satisfying for Anton to actually have a partner who can dance. I am not to keen on the 'Musical' themes, as these sometime depend on acting ability, and not everyone who can dance well can necessarily act at the same time. I would not like to pick a winner at the moment, they are all very good.

I`d love Anita to win, she`s done brilliantly well, but unfortunately this week`s dance wasn`t as good as previous ones. My favourites this week were Georgia and Giovanni, and Katie and Anton. I just wish that Katie could control thoe weird facial expressions of hers!

Although I wasn't impressed by Kellie this week but I think that was the music/theme as much as anything.

Ha, Eloethan! I'm not the only one wondering about Jay, then, although I missed his remark about the little boy - what was that all about?

I'm also glad Bruce is not presenting the Christmas show but I wish him well after his op.

I think Anita may go this week but I would be sorry to see her go.

I too wish Bruce well but am glad he will not be on the show. I would love to see Zoe Ball take on the Saturday night show , she is so good in the week.

Choosing a winner will certainly be difficult this year.. Personally I think Katie should be the next to go and I can't say I am a fan of Jay. I think it will be Georgia or Helen to win but I would love it to be Anita.
