Has anyone been watching these? I saw the dawn chorus and the glass-blowing; and have recorded the canal journey.

I thought they were wonderful. How good just to have the opportunity to listen quietly to the birds and look at the brilliant photography rather than being treated to some inane sleb messing about.

I also started to watch the programme about how bread is made and it could not have been more different - some puerile presenter cracking pointless jokes. Do we need this??!!

I saw the canal journey and loved it. Perfect background for crocheting! Will look for the dawn chorus on Iplayer. smile

I did watch Handmade yesterday, where we saw a Windsor chair being made with no commentary, and have recorded a couple more in the series. It was lovely restful watching. I hope they do more in the future.

I stuck with the glass blowing one to see what was being created and was a bit disappointed with the jug at the end; then lay awake wondering how they made glass tumblers etc [you know; the sort you buy at the supermarket that don't cost much].
