Wasn't it lovely tonight? [sigh]! She won't go to Paris will she? I think she loves him. smile

rosequartz Fri 20-Feb-15 19:36:22

I think his name is actually Kristopher! hmm

Perhaps his DP liked the name but weren't religious ...

Grannyknot Fri 20-Feb-15 08:07:49

And Kris Marshall is a likeable actor (even if the spelling of his name is annoying).

Thanks, everyone.

Of course all the stories have the same lines - it is still relaxing viewing, when so much other awful stuff is on recently.

ninathenana Thu 19-Feb-15 22:41:29

Yes, I'm bored too though DH loves it. I wouldn't want to visit that particular paradise. Too flippin dangerous!

NfkDumpling Thu 19-Feb-15 21:32:22

It really is getting very samey - although there was a small twist tonight. Still love it though. Perfect for a winters evening, such gentle murders with lovely scenery. A bit like Midsomer Murders.

Jane10 Thu 19-Feb-15 21:20:40

Gone to Paris. Got promotion hence new girl

Grannyknot Thu 19-Feb-15 21:03:10

Me too! That's why I'm on Gransnet! Husband is clearly missing Camille so I said I would ask grin

Jane10 Thu 19-Feb-15 20:56:37

Bored already tonight!

Grannyknot Thu 19-Feb-15 20:52:38

What happened to Camille?! And the young sergeant? (Missed a few weeks!)

merlotgran Fri 13-Feb-15 20:38:59

I'm bored with it now. DH still likes it so I find something to watch on iPlayer.

pompa Fri 13-Feb-15 19:24:46

Looks like we are the odd ones out, we both like it, along with MSM's.

Greyduster Fri 13-Feb-15 19:15:23

I'm thoroughly fed up with it. Last night took the biscuit for 'scrape the bottom of the barrel' storyline and poor acting. Gave up half way through.

rosequartz Fri 13-Feb-15 16:20:48

Jane10 It wasn't just you, I wasn't asleep but found my mind wandering and then had to keep rewinding to see what I missed last night!

I had a feeling it was a repeat as the storyline seemed very familiar, but the new police officers were in it so it must be a new episode.
There are only so many story lines the writers of these programmes can dream up I suppose!

Jane10 Fri 13-Feb-15 15:27:38

I do love this programme for all the reasons mentioned above but I just gave up on it last night. I simply couldn't be bothered with the storyline and drifted off. It must be too relaxing. Oh dear. Must try harder to stay awake.

Lilygran Fri 13-Feb-15 10:02:46

There's a very good letter in the new Radio Times this week, something on the lines of 'Don't go to Paris, Camille, haven't you ever watched Spirals?'.

annsixty Fri 13-Feb-15 09:54:52

Fidel

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 13-Feb-15 09:48:05

I've stopped trying to follow the story. I just look at Kris Marshall.

I think the new young one will be more memorable than the other one. Who I have now quite forgotten. shock confused

annodomini Fri 13-Feb-15 09:23:12

It's a bit like Midsommer Murders with sunshine and blue sea.

annsixty Fri 13-Feb-15 09:01:32

I hope they give the new young officer a personality transplant, at the moment he is a bit of a nonentity.

rockgran Thu 12-Feb-15 22:02:49

If you are going to be murdered I can't think of a better location!

rosequartz Sun 08-Feb-15 20:47:21

Don't fall for wotshername, although she is very nice.

Wait for Camille!

granjura Sun 08-Feb-15 10:51:09

Good clean fun- we both love it.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 08-Feb-15 10:49:41

It's popularity has probably increased with the advent of oh-so-sweet Kris Marshall.

Shame Camille left.

daffydil Sun 08-Feb-15 09:28:11

I love this programme too. I don't mind gritty dramas but it is lovely to watch something where there is no swearing or violence and in a wonderful setting. And isn't Camille beautiful? DH likes to think he is above it but I notice he still watches it - he was the same with Gogglebox.

Anya Sun 08-Feb-15 08:27:04

That's it exactly PRINTMISS and perfect for a dark, winter, Thursday evening.
