I have watched Easties since it started in a mindless sort of way. However I was absolutely drawn in by last nights episode. I've never been left so shattered by a TV programme before. Cabin fever? Good writing? Good acting? No idea why!!

He does look sexy in it though! grin I think it shows he is totally at ease with his sexuality.

Perhaps she finds it hard to see how Mike could be considered sexy in his wife's pink dressing gown, lol. I certainly can't either tchshock

Mick Carter has some fantastic turns of phrase that are his own version of Cockney. I often have to google them!

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 14:00:24

Why are you confused whitewave?

granjura Sat 03-Jan-15 13:38:44

I wouldn't blame Denis- but golly, poor Patrick he does not deserve this!

Mick is a one expression actor- really not my cup of tea at all.

whitewave Sat 03-Jan-15 13:26:54

confused

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 13:19:08

Mick is gorgeous! Specially when he is wearing Linda's pink dressing gown. grin

whitewave Sat 03-Jan-15 13:15:21

Yes that's it! There are a few like that in EE I think Mike of the pub has only one facial expression, sort of painful.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 13:14:40

glamma grin

It looks like Denise is going to bugger off and leave her to look after Patrick. I don't blame her.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 13:12:47

DD says he is one dimensional. He's a bit of a pantomime baddy character.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 13:11:25

No!!!!! I just think he is naaaaasty!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrr!

Ana Sat 03-Jan-15 13:07:51

There's a joke in there somewhere...

whitewave Sat 03-Jan-15 13:04:18

jing don't you think Cotton is terribly wooden?

glammanana Sat 03-Jan-15 12:34:51

I'm pleased to see Denise's sister Kim back in the story line she is such a breath of fresh air after all the miserable storylines, you would never think so much could happen in such a small Square could you ?

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 12:23:05

You don't have to like them all whitewave! grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Jan-15 12:22:10

I don't see any poor acting on 'Enders. And I think that fact is amazing in itself. Says a lot for our drama schools.

whitewave Sat 03-Jan-15 11:49:57

I think Nick Cotton and his mother along with a couple of others are very poor actors. Glad the police liaison woman is dead - didn't like her character at all.

Jane10 Sat 03-Jan-15 07:33:06

Was fed up at last night's episode. I can't be bothered with the whole Nick Cotton storyline. Mrs Doyle framing Phil? Whatever!

granjura Fri 02-Jan-15 22:21:46

Feel like organising a boycott of Eastenders via GN and the Press/Radio Times- and tell them we are just not prepared to wait that long!!!

numberplease Fri 02-Jan-15 21:28:38

We will Marelli, next month!

Marelli Fri 02-Jan-15 20:23:38

Oh - the policewoman's dead.....now we'll never know.....confused

glassortwo Fri 02-Jan-15 19:35:31

Honest its not me grin

granjura Fri 02-Jan-15 18:58:12

SHE killed Lucy- so that cuts down the 'choice'.

loopylou Fri 02-Jan-15 16:50:31

Learnt more reading this thread than trying to interpret the last episode!

It was just like the Michelle Fowler pregnancy situation, she rang the father, and several men were shown receiving phone calls. The Lucy saga is scheduled to end in February. "Who shot Phil Mitchell?" ran for several months, despite folk getting bored with it, but I must admit to absolutely loving EastEnders.
