So how was Carl persuaded to smash that jug in his face? Just watched episode 4 as you may have gathered.

Going off topic a bit but BBC4 is great. Just watching the repeat of Jeff Lynne's ELO concert in Hyde Park. Fabulous!!!!

Just watched the second episode - that Cyber Crime Unit is evil! Even in this day and age of extraordinary rendition, it's difficult to believe a government department would get away with this sort of behaviour. And who is the psychopathic beardy guy? I think there will be more questions than answers for a while.

I agree, very clever use of graphics, and technology-dazzling stuff generally. And as you say, it's a bonus that it appeals to all.

And my DH stayed awake!

Just watched the first of Saturday's two episodes. All very intriguing and I love the novel use of graphics, you don't usually see that on TV. I think this is shaping up nicely to be an engrossing watch.

...but not bit!

Meant to add - bit not for this show! It's one that has us both intrigued.

jam smile. My husband "assumes the position" and mutters "my eyes are going" grin.

Grannyknot I have recorded it and shall be watching it in the next few days. I have read good reviews (as well as yours) and, unlike usual BBC4 fare at this time of day on a Saturday there are no subtitles. The downside of this is that reading the subtitles usually keeps my DH awake and alert, thus ensuring I don't need to "rewind" the dodgybox every time he's been resting his eyes! smile

Anyone else watching this Australian show? First 2 episodes (of 6) were on last night. It's very good!
