Losing programmes set up for recording.

Both my tellies needed the stations being rescanned yesterday 2 October as they said some of the channel numbers had changed. No problem doing that but I forgot this has the affect of deleting all the programmes you have set up for recording.

Sadly I lost the latest episode of the Zoo. I went onto Iplayer to watch it that way and that system is not working at present in our area of the Thames Valley, perhaps your area too.

At least our mothers and grandmothers only had to contend with switching on Mrs Dale's Diary at the right time. grin

I had to re-tune only a few weeks ago because of new channels. Resetting the series recordings is an absolute pain, I have loads on my list. Must do it today (groan).

It is worth remembering that you cannot keep movies for over 6 months. Apparently they corrupt your box. I'm sure it's deliberate

My freeview recorder has just died after six years. Lots of films recorded more than zix months ago. Mind you, they were mostly pre war black and white.

I've lost some of my freeview programmes since that re-tuning. angry

Henetha what sort of programmes ? Do you mean some of the channels aren't there any more ? Perhaps the channels have closed down. If you give me the name of one or two I will check them out for you.
