Juts read the article in RT (in Smiths don't buy it) re Strictly Come Dancing and it looks dire - no Brucie and a guest list of no-one I have ever heard of except that coarse fruit and veg man and Andy Murray's sour faced mother.
I suppose I will get sucked in but I think its a record and wiz through job now - I like watching the professional dancers but can't stand the rubbish that Tess talks.
Will you be watching?

Mark wright was in the first TOWIE. He has done a couple of TV things and does some radio stuff.

I met Judy Murray rcently and she was the nicest person anyone could meet. There were no airs or graces about her, very down to earth and definitely the proud mother (as she should be). It really annoys me when people berate someone they have never met, how would they feel if they were vilified on threads and the media? Vote for Judy, she is a fun person despite what her detractors say. smile

Deedaa I could not agree more. I also only know 4 of them so it should be interesting as well as entertaining. I have no idea who Mark Wright is.

Deedaa Fri 05-Sept-14 22:07:06

I only know four of them and I wouldn't have picked any of them to be in it. I hope somebody will turn out to be really entertaining and possibly even very good at dancing or there'll be no point in me watching at all!

I'm putting my money on Mark Wright. He's good on the eye and is a very nice person.

HollyDaze Fri 05-Sept-14 13:43:28

Very true grin

annodomini Fri 05-Sept-14 13:28:19

Think of the length of time Ann Widdecombe lasted with Anton! It certainly wasn't because of her dancing ability. grin

HollyDaze Fri 05-Sept-14 12:56:29

I'm inclined to agree with you Charleygirl - but wouldn't it be wonderful is she turned out to be another Abby Clancy grin

Charleygirl Fri 05-Sept-14 12:52:26

HollyDaze if they are partnered I do not think that they will be around for long.

HollyDaze Fri 05-Sept-14 12:48:42

My bet is that Alison Hammond will be partnered with Anton

He'll have fun then as she has a wicked sense of humour!

Charleygirl Fri 05-Sept-14 12:42:15

My bet is that Alison Hammond will be partnered with Anton. I cannot remember who he was with last year.

Judy plays tennis still so she should be fitter than some of them.

I always think of the Argos aliens when I see Judy! I saw a trailer for some rough and tumble game show where she was laughing a lot, so she may surprise me.

I will be watching Strictly....give the girls a chance and I am sure the unknown names will be recognised. I love Andy Murray and not everyone gets his sense of humour but Judy is witty, intelligent and a little bit risqué ....can't wait smile

Me too blush

shysal Thu 04-Sept-14 17:00:31

Sorry folks for getting sidetracked! blush

Anne58 Thu 04-Sept-14 15:39:30

shysal it IS my vets! They have recently divided the practice into pets, farm and equine! The vet featured (Rupert) is lovely, I've known him for years.

Thank you so much for the link!

suebailey1 Thu 04-Sept-14 14:41:55

I love TW! I wish I had his knowledge of antiques.

shysal Thu 04-Sept-14 14:37:29

Anne58 Thu 04-Sept-14 13:34:34

Ooo missed it! How can I find out if it was?

Sorry, but I find TW really annoying, too much looking into camera when talking to people instead of looking at them, also when I heard him say "Glorster" several times during the course of a programme I wanted to hit him. He affects to be far more upper class than he is.

shysal Thu 04-Sept-14 12:03:39

You might have offended me Phoenix! Perhaps I taught him to speak proper like what I does!
(Going right off piste, did I see your veterinary practice on Young Vets yesterday? One of the students did a placement in Devon.)

KatyK Thu 04-Sept-14 10:40:36

phoenix grin Don't hold back - you tell it like it is girl!

Anne58 Thu 04-Sept-14 10:30:27

Is it only me that thinks Tim Wonnacott is a pretentious knobhead?

HollyDaze Thu 04-Sept-14 10:28:45

Did I say it was a male love child? wink

Oh no! There will be no respite when the female dancers are on!

(Note to self: must work harder on my detecting skills, she didn't fall for it ....)

KatyK Thu 04-Sept-14 10:05:05

Can't stand Bruce. He's all 'look at me, look what I've done, I can sing and dance I can and I'm married to a former Miss World don't you know'. He has done well for himself obviously but it just grates. I never liked him on the Generation Game. I thought he would take the mickey out of people to get a laugh. I think I've got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning! blush

Lona Thu 04-Sept-14 09:58:58

Thanks! grin
They look amazing by the way!
