Juts read the article in RT (in Smiths don't buy it) re Strictly Come Dancing and it looks dire - no Brucie and a guest list of no-one I have ever heard of except that coarse fruit and veg man and Andy Murray's sour faced mother.
I suppose I will get sucked in but I think its a record and wiz through job now - I like watching the professional dancers but can't stand the rubbish that Tess talks.
Will you be watching?

I don't want to lose Tim but he just isn't made for the Charleston. I'm optimistic about Sunetra. She is really getting into it now.

I agree Jake is the best dancer.

I think Simon from Blue has potential even though last night he was a bit below par.

I videod the programme and skipped all Tess and Claudia's inane chat. That's the way I like to watch it.

I wish I could have erased Donny - so full of himself.

I like Jake blush

Judy was a little better this week, but still pretty poor, but she has a lovely smile! I think it`s between Scott, Tim and Judy for the dance off, but I`ll probably be proved wrong. Tess and Claudia together are still getting on my wick, still missing Brucie. Sunetra and Frankie were great tonight, oh, and Caroline too.

I'm really enjoying strictly this time. I used to just watch the dancing bits because I couldn't stand Bruce. Now I find the whole thing entertaining. Has anyone else noticed that this year all the judges comment on each dance. Previously sometimes at least one of them was missed out. Could it be that Brucie bumbled on so much there was not time for them all ?

Sunetra is my favourite at the moment with Pixie a close second.

Poor Anton seemed to be dragging Judy around. She is just not made for dancing. I think Judy and Scott should be in the dance off.

I thought Mark Wright was very funny as Superman.
I think Tess is looking more relaxed than she's ever done, maybe she was uncomfortable with Brucie.

Anya Sat 11-Oct-14 21:16:26

I thought Sunetra looked like she's lost weight too. That dress really suited her but the false eyelashes were making her squint.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 11-Oct-14 21:09:51

Oh yeah. Soz.

Ana Sat 11-Oct-14 21:06:39

Casualty, not Holby!

I hope she comes back too.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 11-Oct-14 20:58:11

And she's my favourite doc on Holby.

Hope she comes back when Strictly's over.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 11-Oct-14 20:56:55

I agree with you grumpaa.

grumppa Sat 11-Oct-14 20:54:16

Come on Sunetra!

sparkygran Sat 11-Oct-14 20:51:00

Oh Jinglbellsfrocks I noticed that too I do hope the voting public don`t hold it against her as I thought she had really improved and shock horror I really like Judy grinwine

Anya Sat 11-Oct-14 20:45:28

Thanks for the warning jingl

Ana Sat 11-Oct-14 20:40:57

That'll be nice. hmm

merlotgran Sat 11-Oct-14 20:40:46

That'll be the bit where I go and make a brew then. grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 11-Oct-14 20:33:15

He's singing his new single tomorrow merlot.

merlotgran Sat 11-Oct-14 20:08:21

I thought Judy was a bit better this week.

Donny Osmond is adding nothing whatsoever to the programme. He appears to know s*d all about dancing so goodness knows how he won the American version. hmm

Ana Sat 11-Oct-14 20:06:09

Yes. He's not going to be a permanent fixture.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 11-Oct-14 20:04:15

So funny that Judy refused the popcorn. grin hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 11-Oct-14 20:03:14

Donny Osmond won the American version didn't he? He's got a new single out and he's over here to promote it.

pompa Sat 11-Oct-14 19:12:27

Anya, agree totally, surely they could find someone with dance skills. I guess he is cheap, if not they are wasting our money.

I do think the show is lacking a strong presenter, but please not DO.

A few more weeks will wheedle out the no hoper's and we can enjoy a competition, several strong contenders this year.

Valbeasixties Sat 11-Oct-14 19:11:32

Sigh! I dislike 'Strictly' and the 'X Factor' so it will be Tom Kerridge and the Saturday papers with a G and T on the side.

Anya Sat 11-Oct-14 19:03:47

shock

papaoscar Sat 11-Oct-14 18:58:21

Could be a trial run for a male host role, perhaps, with Tess floated off upstairs to do the post-dance interviews? I have a feeling in my bones...
