Only time will tell Jane. hmm

grin

But can you remember where you found them - for next time?

NanKate Tue 09-Sept-14 20:09:23

AT LAST I HAVE LOCATED THE SUB TITLES ON THE I PLAYER - hurray. grin.

I wasn't very impressed either with New Tricks. I will give it one last chance.

I agree, it has lost it`s sparkle, my 2 favourite characters, Brian and Jack, have sadly gone, their replacements are so bo-o-o-oring!

It really is hardly worth watching New Tricks now, is it? It seems to have lost a lot of it's sparkle, and the last two episodes have been so s-l-o-w!

Thanks Janerowena I do have a button on the controller called Sub but nothing happens when I press it. When I watch the live or recorded programmes through my PVR and use a different controller it works.

When DS comes next time I will get him to sort it.

DH hardly knows how to turn on the TV as he rarely watches anything which has the added advantage I can watch what I want when I want. grin

Nankate the subtitles - you need to switch them on probably, through a button on your controller.

I only found out recently (thanks to my son) that I can get Iplayer on the actual TV now, rather than struggle on the laptop, as my volume on there just isn`t high enough, so now it`s just like on TV, well, it IS on TV I suppose, just when I want it.

I watched it on my ipad yesterday and had subtitles

I watched New Tricks on Iplayer today and didn't manage to get sub titles which helps me if I miss a word or two. Do they no longer have sub titles on BBC Iplayer ?
