Anyone else watch this, what did you think?
It's based on a horrific story, but I thought it was a well acted and gripping drama. I shall be watching next week.

What exactly was it nina?

Pittcity Fri 23-May-14 08:44:18

I love Philip Glenister in anything, so last night's ending...well... Won't give it away for anyone who is iplayering it. shock

Pittcity Fri 23-May-14 08:47:37

BTW nina it's "From There to Here". Not that it matters!

Lona it's about the IRA bombings in Manchester in the 90s and about how 2 families were affected. A fictional drama based around real events.

Yes I saw it- love Philip Glenister so he was the draw even though the story seems to centre around the bombings and foot ball. I enjoyed it - good cast well acted I thought. I'll keep tuned to this one.

GillT57 Fri 23-May-14 10:09:35

Phillip Glenister drew me to the programme to, and glad to say I enjoyed him it very much. I think it is his eyes and his voice.....blush

Pittcity Thanks for that info.
I love Phillip Glenister too blush he just looks dirty interesting wink

KatyK Fri 23-May-14 11:38:26

Watched it - loved it. Yes there is definitely something about Philip Glenister. Apart from the fact that he is attractive, most things he appears in are good. His brother has appeared in some good stuff too, but is not as easy on the eye. (In my opinion, others may disagree). smile

I reckon it was Philip Glenisters part in Life on Mars [what an amazing series that was] that catapulted him into national hearthrob [c'mon ladies admit to caveman fantasies blush]. His role in Vanity Fair years back didn't have the same effect [affect?] on us. Missed this new series as I wanted to watch the Ray Mears programme about America.

Lona Fri 23-May-14 15:51:55

Just tried to watch this, but I'm afraid even Phillip couldn't stop me feeling bored.
Maybe it's because I've always lived in Manchester. hmm

J52 Fri 23-May-14 18:12:12

He won't be blown up. How will he have escaped? Any suggestions? X

suebailey1 Sat 24-May-14 10:42:05

Hid under the table?

Marelli Sat 24-May-14 10:47:08

I don't think it's on in Scotland, is it?

KatyK Sat 24-May-14 10:51:23

He can't have been blown up - he's on Paul O'Grady next week. smile
