I read in my new Radio Times that this 1974 series is to be shown from next Monday, 2 of the 26 episodes each day, at 12 noon. I can remember watching it but have no idea whether I enjoyed it. I have set it to record the series, but will have difficulty finding the time to plough through it.
Can anyone remember it, and will it be worth seeing?

Oh I loved it! Always liked Trollope and felt an affinity as Palliser is a family name!

Yes, I got the DVDs last year and had an enjoyable few months watching them, one episode a night where possible. I really enjoyed it. I then reread the books and they showed just how true to the books the adaptation was. It doesn't date, except that it isn't sexed up, no scenes of nubile young men swimming in wet T shirts!!

There was some great acting in this series. I enjoyed every minute. I also love the novels and many of Trollope's observations about the politics of the time are surprisingly relevant today. Plus ca change...
