Thousands of people queuing here in Brum yesterday for roles as extras in the new series of Peaky Blinders. Can't wait. grin

Looking forward to seeing it too Katy. Hope all as good as series one was.

Only watched the first episode, but didn't like the way it was filmed [like a western!] Did it get better?

Well I wasn't sure at first. Couldn't cope with the fake Brummie accents but I absolutely loved it. Yes it was a bit western-like and not everyone's cup of tea.

Wonder where they're filming it? I'm planning a few trips to Brum when the weather picks up. Just imagine bumping into Cillian walking up Colmore Row blush; be still my beating heart....

Shame I'm still a wage slave (and not in Brum). I really enjoyed Peaky Blinders, and am sure I could fill in as a cackling toothless crone in that traveller encampment. I googled the casting company just out of interest and apparently one of their clients was cast in series 1 as Drunk in Pubic House. Poor man! grin

shock..no wonder it was on after the watershed...

Loved it!

It was rumoured it was filmed partly in the Jewellery Quarter, Black Country Museum and some in Liverpool, not sure about this series. Don't think I could cope with bumping into Cillian, this old heart couldn't take it!
