Anyone else as confused as I am? I enjoyed the programme but think we still haven't been told how he really faked his death, and since when did Sherlock Holmes go around kissing women?

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 12-Jan-14 23:52:51

O Kayyy!

Did it look like him? hmm grin (I don't know what I'm talking about btw)

Unless, of course, it wasn't Moriarty, if you know what I mean (I think I do). confused

Maggiemaybe Sun 12-Jan-14 23:37:02

Yes, it was Moriarty. He's supposed to have killed himself in the last series.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 12-Jan-14 23:28:29

Was that Moriarty at the end. After the credits? I need to get the previous ones on dvd.

LizG Sun 12-Jan-14 23:25:28

Loved it even though it was totally unexpected other than Moriarty.

Maggiemaybe Sun 12-Jan-14 23:19:02

Me too. I've loved this series and can't wait for the next. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 12-Jan-14 22:51:10

I loved it again tonight. Wish I'd started watching it sooner. Was a very short "season". sad

Notso Sun 12-Jan-14 22:43:17

Absolutely the best thing on TV....I love it! Tonight's episode was fantastic. smile

Penstemmon Sun 12-Jan-14 22:25:42

Fantastic entertainment! I love it which even I find strange as I usually like stories that are realistic!!

NfkDumpling Sun 12-Jan-14 21:39:04

Not sure I like this new Sherlock. Far too airy fairy, weird.

rosesarered Mon 06-Jan-14 22:23:23

Neither of them are to my taste.BC is very strange looking, and Martin Freeman looks like the little hobbit that he plays.Doesn't matter though, as I enjoy the programme. The last one [with the wedding] was great.

LizG Mon 06-Jan-14 13:19:51

I thought Sherlock was hilarious and the acting excellent. Have to say my fancy would go more for Doctor Watson though, much more my taste smile

annodomini Mon 06-Jan-14 12:26:50

I don't think I'd ever seen him before Sherlock. I couldn't fancy him at all, though I agree he's a very good actor, now in demand in Hollywood.

Ana Mon 06-Jan-14 12:19:40

I agree, phoenix!

Anne58 Mon 06-Jan-14 12:16:04

Yes, I agree brilliant acting, but really can't find BC attractive.

Tegan Mon 06-Jan-14 12:08:23

Did everyone fancy him before Sherlock? I'm only asking because I didn't get it before but I do now [I think it happened when I saw him on the Graham Norton Show].

sunseeker Mon 06-Jan-14 11:55:19

What is it about BC - he is not classically good looking but he does have something doesn't he - I think it is his eyes

soop Mon 06-Jan-14 11:36:21

Soutra Cumberpatch versus Allsopp...*No contest* wink

Soutra Mon 06-Jan-14 11:32:54

Queue here for the Cumberbitches grin
I loved it and just might watch it sgain this afternoon while doing the ironing- eat your heart out Kirstie Allsopp!

jinglbellrocks Mon 06-Jan-14 11:12:44

Only one more episode?!!!

I'm late to the party again.hmm

soop Mon 06-Jan-14 10:57:16

Benedict Cumberpatch is Sherlock. I love him. One of the best dramas on television by a mile. grin

sunseeker Mon 06-Jan-14 10:46:40

I actually felt uncomfortable for Sherlock in his not knowing what to do in a social situation - shows how good the acting was. I do love this programme and its a shame the series only has 3 episodes. I think Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes is brilliant - what a good actor.

annodomini Mon 06-Jan-14 10:42:04

It was hilarious! grin

Versavisa Mon 06-Jan-14 10:09:20

Really good episode I thought. Even DH loved it and he usually struggles to follow the plot.

I have really enjoyed all of the series and I am sad to think there is only one more episode. Nothing else comes close to it for mental stimulation, acting, production, plot and ingenuity.

Unless you can recommend something else I might like?

jinglbellrocks Sun 05-Jan-14 22:42:52

Yes. Good one tonight. Haven't been a Sherlock fan before. That could change.
