I didn't realise they had been in 4 in a bed seasider. They make me laugh.

I have liked Steph and Dom ever since they came to Blackpool for 4 in a Bed . Despite the fact that they run a very upmarket establishment they weren't the slightest bit snooty about staying in a back street b and b in Blackpool and they joined in all the activities with great enthusiasm smile

I love Gogglebox and especially Steph and Dom.

I can't record either. Sort of reckon that, if I don't have time to watch something when it's on I won't have time later [she says looking at three boxes full of videos still waiting to be watched! yes; videos!]. Usually have BBC4 on in the evening. It's this late night channel hopping that's causing me problems as I'm still so chuffed at the thought of not having to get up at 7 each day. Caught a really interesting programme on Yesterday about Easter Island which I'd like to watch again.

No petra I can't record anything. I do get the Telegraph tv listings but I see things and then dismiss them if I don't fancy it from the write up especially if it is after 10.30pm !

petra Fri 20-Dec-13 19:49:40

How did the black girls think Susan Boyle was Irish!!
tiggypiro, do you buy a TV mag. Can you record stuff? I read all what's on, record what I like and anything that people are 'talking' about.
Friday night, when OH goes out to play, as I call it ( he calls me for a lift home when he's had enough) I look at new proggs I have recorded, and delete if it's rubbish.

Tegan Fri 20-Dec-13 18:23:56

Same here. Even my daughter's been watching it [and she never has time to watch anything]. Bet it's on utube though.

tiggypiro Fri 20-Dec-13 18:09:59

Oh dear - just as something good finishes I realise that I have seen nothing of it again. I also missed the first series of The Royale family and Mrs Brown's Boys which I now find hilarious !
Please let me know what else I should be watching (before I miss out again ).

Ana Fri 20-Dec-13 16:28:26

It was the last in the present series this week, Tegan, not sure how many there were altogether.

Tegan Fri 20-Dec-13 16:22:07

I only discovered it the other night;how many episodes have I missed?. I don't find the gay couple funny [but then I've only seen one episode].

Ana Fri 20-Dec-13 15:58:42

I love Steph and Dom, the two black girls and the retired teacher couple. Leon's so dry...tchgrin. I quite like the gay couple, too, but could do without the swearing...

merlotgran Fri 20-Dec-13 15:53:02

It's the best thing on telly by far. DH didn't 'get' it at first but he now loves Leon the grumpy retired teacher whose long suffering wife reminds us of Esther in New Tricks.

My favourite moment was a few weeks back when the Indian family - father and two sons - were watching paramedics attending a nasty road accident. The father asked the younger son if he thought he could be a paramedic.

'Nah.' he replied, 'I'm not much good with directions!' tchgrin

Steph and Dom are my favourites. wine

I enjoy it. Steph and Dom are the best closely followed by the two ladies with the Jesus slogan on their tele.

Step and Dom were on another prog also, I think it's called 4 in a bed. The one where B&B owners compete for the best B&B. That was prior to Gogglebox. When you first saw them you instinctively thought they were going to be so snobby and sarcastic but they were quite the opposite and very nice. Their B&B, if you can call it that, was super but they played the game and gave really nice comments to the others who were competing.

I did laugh when they showed the recent coastal flooding and strong winds at Brighton and the woman said 'Oh that'll be good for the surfers', thick as muck sometimes but very watchable. [laugh]

Yes, I am a fan and love Steph and Dom, they really say it how it is, and the older couple, they are hilarious, I could watch them for ages, the way she tutts and is so disapproving of her hubby, but loves him really. He was absolutely thrilled with his Santa hat wasn't he?

Grannyknot Fri 20-Dec-13 08:57:13

It's my current guilty pleasure and no one else in my family understands why. And I don't usually do reality TV shows at all! I love the posh gay couple.

ginny Fri 20-Dec-13 08:48:48

I watch sometimes. It is far funnier than most of the comedy shows especially Dom and Steph.

glammanana Fri 20-Dec-13 08:27:50

petra They are great aren't they and as the programme goes on the more she drinks - fabulous !! I enjoy the remarks from the older gentleman & his wife he just hates everything that he watches and what did he look like with his blue santa hat on ?

petra Fri 20-Dec-13 07:16:33

Is anyone else a fan? I love Steph & Dom, the ' posh pair' as they are known.
I love Dom even more now as I have just read that he hates Bruce Forsythe and loves Steven Fry and watches 2 & a half men. Love him.
