I missed the first two series of this mainly because I am not a fan of American dramas because of the acting and the happy endings. But now I have given it a chance I am hooked and much prefer it it to Downton (although I do catch up with Downton on iplayer).Anyone else enjoying Homeland?
Don't let out little feathered friends dry out.
Lest we forget what we have just lost ....
Good Morning Wednesday 24th June 2026

It has so much - at times humorous, at times truly shocking, the family interest and the acting is first rate. Love it. I'm intrigued to know how it finishes (only on second series) because of the moral dichotomy. It's good too to see the positive and sensitive portrayal of the disabled son. Oh and I love the music.
I hate that feeling when something ends and you do feel you have lost something important. I feel that with books too. My son has given me DVDs with a 'you'll love this Mum' attached and I rarely have - I've given him Breaking Bad so we'll see how it goes.
